The Dreamy Draw Nature Trail, known also as Trail #220 (click here to read about my discovery of the trail name/number paradox in Phoenix) is a pleasant hike across the rolling hills located just northwest of Squaw Peak. This route is very popular due to its convenient location, great views, and comfortable course.

This route is perfect for both hikers and runners. Appropriately named, this trail features a wide variety of plantlife, abounding with creosote bushes, brittlebush, bursage bushes and cholla and saguaro cacti. The entire loop totals just over one mile total.

Getting There: Exit the Squaw Peak Parkway onto Northern Avenue. Take Northern east and you will soon dead end into the Dreamy Draw parking lot.
