About Snapshot: IPOfn Pre-Opening Snapshot only covers NASDAQ IPOs that are priced and expected to trade that day. Quotes are updated every 10 seconds to reflect market maker 'bids' and 'asks' BEFORE the issues begin trading. This 10 second period can cause the data to be slightly behind the actual real time quotes. Because the quotes are pre-opening indications, delays of any kind will not affect any trading, which can only happen when the stock opens for trading. The window of activity for these pre-opening quotes generally lasts, on the average, for about 15 minutes, although some stocks may open for trading much later. Once these stocks begin to trade, all Snapshot quotes will terminate for the individual stocks. At that time, you must use your traditional sources for obtaining quotes.

Commentary: Once opening indications are displayed, IPOfn will begin to give live commentary about the pending opening of each IPO listed on the Snapshot. It is an 'ad hoc' commentary that will hopefully add more 'color' to the information that is being dislayed in the screen. It is not mean to be a trading recommendation of any kind.
